2021 Jackie Robinson Invitational presented by Nike

Overview: The Atlanta Braves are excited to invite your teams to participate in the Jackie Robinson Invitational, presented by Nike. This tournament is a celebration of Jackie and the impact he made on changing the game for the next generation. Providing teams from across Metro Atlanta the opportunity to learn and live his legacy by competing against diverse teams in this yearly event! We are hosting two divisions of this tournament Travel in Cartersville and the RBI / Recreation division in Metro Atlanta at the Villages of Carver YMCA! 

Dates: Saturday, April 17th - Sunday, April 18th 

Tournament Overview

  • Saturday, April 17th- Teams will compete in two (2) pool play games and take photos with a Braves Alumni
    • 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (Pool Play)- Teams will receive shirts during check-in 
      • All players MUST be registered to receive the shirts!
    • 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Braves Welcome Ceromney- Photo with a Braves Alumni) 
    • 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Pool Play cont)
  • Sunday, April 18th - Teams from each age bracket will compete in a single-elimination bracket to determine a tournament champion

Rec / RBI Tournament Location

  • Villages of Carver Family YMCA: 1600 Pryor Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30315

Registration Fee: $150 per team

Each team receives the following:

  • Guaranteed to play at least 3 games
  • A chance to meet a Braves alumni and take a team photo
  • 42 Nike Shirts to compete in

Registration Fee: $150 per team No refunds will be given.

Registration Guidelines

  • If space is available, your credit card will be charged automatically.
  • Waivers must be signed by all players and coaches participating in the tournament (after registering your team, you can "invite players" to join your team or you can accomplish this from your team dashboard)
  • Coaches Background checks will be requested
  • Every coach is responsible for providing and carrying documentation of birth for all players on their roster for the duration of the tournament.
